No Hands:
The Wispr Challenge

WeMakeDevs and Wispr Flow are challenging professionals to fix a real problem in their own work by building a tool for it.

The twist is that you have to use voice for the building process.

01 / About the challenge

Buildit,writeit,shipit.Justdon'ttypeit.

Two weeks, from WeMakeDevs and Wispr Flow. Build a tool that fixes a problem in your own work, and use your voice to do it.

  1. The problem

Start with whatever slows you down

The report you rebuild from the same spreadsheets every Monday. The WhatsApp questions you answer with the same three replies. The CRM nobody updates, because the write-up takes longer than the call.

  2. The build

Make a tool that fixes it

Tell your AI tools what you want the way you'd tell a colleague. Wispr Flow turns it into clean text in the apps you already use, four times faster than you type.

  3. The people

You don't need to be a developer

Builders is for people who write code. No-Code is for everyone else: marketing, product, sales, ops, HR, design and more.

02 / What Wispr Flow does

Speak naturally. Get clear, polished writing.

Hold a key and talk. What lands where your cursor is reads like you wrote it carefully, in whatever app you're in.

03 / How it works

Register today, submit by 30 October

The challenge runs from 16 to 30 October. Build at your own pace and check in once a week.

  1. Step 1: Register

Set up Wispr Flow and make your first Flow the start of your project: say the problem in your work you want to fix and what your tool should do. The month of Flow Pro is on us.

  2. Step 2: Build with Flow

Pick a track and talk your way through it: the spec to your AI tools, the docs, the messages. Keyboard for shortcuts, voice for the rest.

  3. Step 3: Share every week

Upload your Wispr usage card and post your progress. Weekly winners every Monday.

  4. Step 4: Submit your project

Submit it on this website by 30 October, 11:59 pm IST.

04 / Tracks

Two tracks, one rule: use your voice

Pick one: Builders if you write code, No-Code if you don't. Either way you ship a working tool, built by voice, and one real result it produced.

Track 1for developers

Builders

A working software product that solves a problem in your own work. Dictate requirements and follow-ups into your coding tools, and let them do the coding.

  • Full-stack developers
  • AI engineers
  • Mobile developers
  • DevOps engineers
Track 2for every other role

No-Code

A working tool for your own job, made with an AI app builder or assistant, no coding needed. The judges have to be able to open and use it: an app, a shared assistant or a workflow, not a chat thread.

  • Marketers
  • Product managers
  • Sales
  • Founders
  • Designers
  • Human Resources

05 / Submission

What you submit

  1. 1. A link to your working project.
  2. 2. A demo video of up to two minutes.
  3. 3. Your Wispr usage card, as a screenshot from Insights in the desktop app.
  4. 4. A few lines on the problem, who it is for and how you used Wispr.

Submissions close on Friday 30 October at 11:59 pm IST. This is a solo challenge, so every entry is one person's project.

01 Project link

callfollowup.lovable.app

Opens without signing in. Sample call notes sit on the first screen, so a judge can try it in a minute.

02 Demo video

1:52, unlisted on YouTube

A real call ends, I hold Fn and say what happened, and the email and the CRM note appear. I dictate two fixes and send.

03 Wispr usage card

Insights screenshot, 21,480 words

Words dictated from 16 to 30 October.

04 About the project

Problem, user, and how Wispr was used

I sell to clinics, and after every call I lose half an hour writing the follow-up and updating the CRM. This is for reps on back-to-back calls. I built it in Lovable by talking through each screen with Wispr Flow, then tested it on my notes from 14 real calls. It now drafts both in under a minute.

07 / FAQ

Got questions?

What is No Hands?

A two-week online hackathon from WeMakeDevs and Wispr Flow, from 16 to 30 October. Build a tool that solves a problem in your own work, and use Wispr Flow to speak your prompts, instructions and docs as you build. Get 1 month of Wispr Flow Pro free

Who can take part?

Anyone in India. Professionals across all domains are welcome: founders, developers, marketing, product, HR and others. Students are welcome as well. It's a solo challenge, so no teams: you register, set up Wispr and build on your own.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. The No-Code track is built for people who don't write code, whatever your role: marketing, sales, HR, ops, design or anything else. You build your tool with an AI app builder like Lovable or an assistant like ChatGPT or Claude, and tell it what to do by talking through Wispr Flow.

What counts as a No-Code entry?

A tool someone else can open and use. An app made with an AI app builder like Lovable counts, and so does a reusable assistant, such as a custom GPT or a Gemini Gem shared by link, or a workflow in Zapier, Make or Notion that runs when the judges trigger it, from a form for example. A chat thread or a one-off prompt doesn't count. Judges need to try it without paying or asking you for access: share a public link, and if it needs a sign-in, put a test login and sample input in your description.

Does it cost anything?

No. The challenge is free to enter, and your Wispr Flow link includes 1 month of Wispr Flow Pro free.

What do I need?

A Mac or Windows computer with a microphone, and a Wispr Flow account.

Why do I set up Wispr before I register?

Because the challenge is about solving problems in a voice-first way. Your prompts, specs and docs are spoken, not typed, so Flow has to be working before you start building.

Do I have to use only my voice?

Use your voice for as much as you can: prompts, docs, messages and commit notes. You can still use the keyboard for shortcuts and small fixes. Judges look at how much of your writing went through Flow.

Can I use other tools?

Yes. Use any editor, AI assistant or app builder you like. Wispr Flow is how you talk to them.

Does the free month cover the other tools?

No. The free month is Wispr Flow Pro only. Lovable, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude and the rest need your own accounts. Their free plans are enough for the examples on this page, but they cap how many messages or credits you get a day, so start early. You don't have to pay for anything to take part.

Can I enter more than one track?

No. Pick one track, Builders or No-Code, and submit one project in it.

How is Wispr usage measured?

From the usage card in your Wispr Flow desktop app, under Insights and Your usage. Winners' numbers are confirmed with Wispr before prizes are sent.

What if I disagree with my score?

Every score and comment is public. You can raise a question until the end of Thursday 5 November and you will get a written reply before winners are confirmed.

When are prizes sent?

Prize money is sent on Friday 6 November, the day winners are announced. Weekly prizes ship the day weekly winners are named, to an address in India.

Who owns what I build?

You do. WeMakeDevs and Wispr have the right to feature your project and demo video on their channels.

Can I join after 16 October?

Yes. Registration stays open until submissions close on Friday 30 October.
