ROOTLINE OMNI — Explainable Graph-Powered Incident Investigation
Graph HacksOct 2026
ROOTLINE OMNI is a graph-powered incident investigation system designed to help SREs, DevOps engineers, and incident responders understand why a service is failing and which dependencies may be involved. Instead of relying only on isolated logs or flat lists, ROOTLINE OMNI uses FalkorDB to represent services, dependencies, incidents, and evidence as a connected graph. It investigates incidents through graph traversal, explores multi-hop dependencies and blast radius, retrieves supporting evidence, and ranks potential causes using a transparent scoring approach. The system is designed to expose investigation steps, preserve decisions, and communicate uncertainty when the available evidence is insufficient. Its goal is to make incident investigations more explainable, traceable, and useful to engineers. The demonstration uses synthetic incident and infrastructure data; results should be interpreted within that scope.
