Automate Me If You Can

The Rulebook

  1. This event is part of the Hack All February series (Week 3). This is a solo hackathon - you participate on your own.
  2. The more Accomplish features you use, the better your chances. File management, document creation, browser automation, custom skills - use them all. Check out the resources section for ideas and setup guides.
  3. You must build a new project during the hackathon. Simply modifying an existing codebase or app is not allowed - Frank never used the same fake check twice.
  4. All design elements, code, and assets for your project must be created during the event. You may use third-party tools, frameworks, open-source libraries, public APIs, and publicly available assets (e.g., Creative Commons images, fonts, or music).
  5. You can plan and discuss ideas in advance, but coding and design work should start only after the hackathon begins. Written notes, sketches, and diagrams are allowed before kickoff - think of it as casing the joint.
  6. Focus on automating real day-to-day tasks using Accomplish. Projects must involve building software (hardware components are optional).
  7. This is a solo hackathon - individual participation only.
  8. While interviews don't guarantee a job, they provide a genuine chance to showcase your skills and access potential roles at Accomplish.ai.
  9. Any intellectual property developed during the hackathon belongs to you (the participant who created it).
  10. Please treat all participants with respect. Act kindly and professionally. Harassment, discrimination, or exclusionary behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. If you see something concerning, notify an organizer immediately.
  11. Failure to follow these rules or the Code of Conduct may result in disqualification and a permanent ban from future events. Unlike Frank, there's no second act.

Prizes

  • 10 winners (highlight) — Showcase how you used Accomplish to automate your task · $100 each
  • Top 20 (open source) — Get your PR merged (see below) · $100 each
  • One person can win both tracks.

Contributing to GitHub issues (Top 20 · $100 each for merged PR)

If you want to contribute to an issue from the feb_hackathon label, follow this process:

  1. Comment on the issue and share how you would fix it.
  2. Tag @orcaman in your comment — he will assign the issue to you.
  3. Once assigned, create your PR.

Do not spam. One thoughtful comment per issue is enough.
